Liberal Leadership Convention
Joining David Anderson, former Minister of the Environment, and Judy Sgro, MP for York West, chanting "Martha" as we head to the main floor of the Palais des Congres.That's me right behind them.

I really like Martha, but where were all her supporters? When she was giving her speach at the convention a group of Ignatieff supporters put on Martha T shirts and carried Martha signs to help create the optics that she had some team support?

I very much enjoyed the convention.
The Martha organizers did and awsome job.
And Martha was a candidate we could all be proud of.
Her speech was a howitzer. I think there were 5 spontaneous standing ovations.
And once eliminated, her decision to support Stephane Dion was the catalyst that he needed.
Without Martha's initial support, it might not have turned out the way it did.
I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of Martha in the future as she plays a bigger part in the future of the Liberal party and of our government.
